I never manually deleted anything other than the. I believe the default.mrot file was leftover from the old (non plus) version that I had installed previously. minecraft/config/MovingWorld/MetaRotation. minecraft/config/ArchimedesShips as well as the vanilla.mrot and. Again, my knowledge of the inner workings of Minecraft or how modding is implemented is basically nonexistent, but I code for a living and understand more than the layperson would by a significant margin. Disclaimer: I've never modded Minecraft nor written any Java myself, but I am a web programmer and have worked with similar languages. At this point I'm willing to chalk up the assigned responsibility to all mod developers/projects as a whole, to develop some kind of standard to adhere to with block orientation or other metadata. I have tried Googling a fix but have mostly turned up nothing but debates about what project/developer this issue "belongs to" and some incredibly vague references to. I plan to add more modded blocks to my airship at some point to further enhance the functionality of it and make what you could refer to as a mobile base (IC2 and more), just to give you an idea of my intent. Another example, Luppis Ladders bridges appear to always work fine, but having the bridge mount change direction makes it mostly useless despite retaining basically 100% of its functionality. The change in orientation is really the other method of "breaking" functionality that I'm referring to here. Other blocks don't break any functionality though, and are still functional to some degree. I assume this is related to the rotation issue, because that also occurs on the blocks in question in addition to others. Upon disassembling (after changing some coordinate or rotation value of my ship) it will almost always break my wiring, MFE recharge station, and the generator. One example I have is having an IC2 electric jetpack to enter and exit my airship with an Advanced Solar Panels solar panel and an IC2 generator (as a backup/supplement) wired to a recharge station directly on my airship. There are plenty of instances where this is a problem that could enable some seriously cool **** if it were resolved. ![]() The other one is the block orientation issue on modded blocks. Judging by that video, It looks like you've been working on that though so I I'll just give thanks in advance for that one. However, I have two major issues with it at this point. Great job, thanks for taking the time to make this. I play on a heavily modded 1.7.10 server (~170 mods) and this one has got to be right up there in my top 5 favorite mods. I just want to start things off by saying this mod is pretty damn sweet. ![]() There's a chance that they might use tiles for their rotation in which case there's not really a whole lot to be done.Hi there. mrot files and put them in the directory. Metarotations are the solution, unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of documentation but if you look at the vanilla.mrot file you can figure it out. I think if we can get a few knowledgeable people in here to chime in, we could collectively reach some sort of resolution. There are bits and pieces of this "metarotations" discussion all over the place. Making the mrot files appears to be straightforward, but finding the correct metadata values on modded (even vanilla) blocks is something that has been eluding me.Īnything of use that I find I will post in this thread. Making a transition to the newer version somewhat of an issue. I've been looking into this a bit myself once I realized the lack of support for many other of my favorite mods on 1.8. Github is your friend and please follow the guidelines there. Psst, read the first post before making an issue. : Ticking entityĪt .func_70105_a(Entity.java:238)Īt .EntitySeat.(EntitySeat.java:25)Īt .ShipCapabilities.onChunkBlockAdded(ShipCapabilities.java:307)Īt .MovingWorldHandlerCommon.onChunkUpdate(MovingWorldHandlerCommon.java:36)Īt .MovingWorldHandlerServer.onChunkUpdate(MovingWorldHandlerServer.java:34)Īt .ShipHandlerServer.onChunkUpdate(ShipHandlerServer.java:41)Īt .EntityMovingWorld.func_70030_z(EntityMovingWorld.java:231)Īt .EntityShip.func_70030_z(EntityShip.java:55)Īt .EntityMovingWorld.func_70071_h_(EntityMovingWorld.java:317)Īt .func_72866_a(World.java:1860)Īt .func_72866_a(WorldServer.java:699)Īt .func_72870_g(World.java:1829)Īt .func_72939_s(World.java:1661)Īt .func_72939_s(WorldServer.java:544)Īt .func_71190_q(MinecraftServer.java:701)Īt .func_71217_p(MinecraftServer.java:605)Īt .IntegratedServer.func_71217_p(IntegratedServer.java:250)Īt .run(MinecraftServer.java:481)
